It's location and it is a older motel but its clealiness was fantastic.Liked it's small hometown feel-not a big generic motel hotel.

    Very good

Good water pressure, with simple to operate shower controls. Quiet.

Room with King sized bed was not available upon arrival, despite reserving and paying for room with King sized bed. Upon asking, was told that their was a problem with the plumbing in the King-sized bed room, and was offered the choice between a room with 2 double beds, or a larger room with 2 Queen size beds. We felt the room with the double beds had better carpet, so that is what we took. We were not offered a discount for the King sized bed not being available.

Very Clean Room but old carpit. Bed was comfortable(King) Manegent was very helpful and kind. They seem to be doing the best they can.

Old musty smell in the ac and room. Bathroom way to small for us and had to step up in to it.

I recently stayed at Cherry lane. I have stayed at Cherry Lane in years passed, but stopped going when it went down hill. I stayed there this year and was glad to learn that it had been taken over by new owners last year. The turn around has been remarkable. The new owners have updated all the rooms, adding flat screen tvs, refrigerators, microwaves and hair dryers for the ladies. The rooms have all been repainted and are spotless. Its great for families, with a clean outdoor pool, and swing sets for the little ones. Its actually in the middle of Amish farmland, which means no main road traffic and noise. But is still 10 minutes from everything in Amish country.

    Fabulous

Folks at the front desk were pleasant and accomodating. When you are away from home it is great to come in contact with nice people!

Beds could be a little softer.

The hotel is very outdated, although the room seemed clean. We were upstairs and the hallway was freezing, as was the room when we arrived. The owner were very nice, but I thing I'll look elsewhere next visit.

Staff was friendly. However, the room had extremely dated decor. Dark and dingy. Old sink, unable to regulate water or even shut off shower valve. Old sheets and blankets.

The people who run the Inn are super friendly and willing to please. I'd stay here again in a heart beat. There were no bugs. You didn't feel nickel and dimed either. Pool was clean. As an example there is an ice machine. I believe it to be fairly vintage. It runs though and the ice costs 25 cents but clearly marked on the machine it says get "Tokens" at the front counter. The Token is a quarter. The owners don't want you paying for the ice and give you the money. Secondly they don't rape you for the vending machines either. Just a great place to stay.

The word here shouldn't be "didn't like." I was a little shocked at the age of the rooms. It really is 1970 all over again. My wife and I are not high rollers so we didn't much care but it was a little shocking as I said. You want something better there is a hilton, or econolodge, but you have to pay and extra $20 to stay there. If you believe you are better than everyone else and demand a certain decor you probably will scoff at this "Inn" but if you are homey, this place will work perfect for you. Updating the "Inn" would improve the look but it will most like affect the room price as well. $65 per night during prime season. That is hard to beat.

    Superb

Proximity to Amish culture. Horses and buggies went right past the property;some of the maids were Amish. Swimming pool;playframe for the children Friendly proprietors Good breakfast constantly topped up until 10am

Bathroom basin was slow to empty Air conditioner pretty noisy A few smells came from bins which could have been emptied in a more timely fashion

    Very good

My wife and I stayed in the hotel as an evening stopover before going to a Christian meeting the next morning. We had stayed at this motel about 8 years before. The motel is close to all of the restaurants and shopping in Lancaster. The fact that they include a continental breakfast with the room rate being so low is admirable. The room was quiet , no traffic noise could be heard. The flat screen TV was well positioned on the wall at the end of the bed so that you could watch TV in bed.The air conditioner was large enough to keep the room reasonably cool. It was a decent room for a one night stay.

The bathroom for our room was very cramped. The mattress could have been firmer on the bed. The flooring under the carpet was loose in one spot. There was a spider of extension cords that plugged in a lamp, a refrigerator, and the TV. There had to have been a better way.

    Fabulous

We love the location, waking up every morning to the sound of the roaster crowing across the road and the sound of the horse and buggies going up and down the road. We are early risers so it was nice to have a quite place to just sit and relax before starting our day.

The room was nice enough but there were no table and chairs in it, only a desk and chair. We feel that a table could be used as a desk but it's hard to use a desk as a table. Next time I will ask if there is a table and chairs in the room. We don't enjoy sitting or laying on the bed to eat or watch TV.
